this is another thing that happened idk lol i’ve just come across some good prompts lately i guess (prompt here though i changed it from first person bc no lol)
When Yixing is sixteen he falls madly in love. Lu Han is his best friend. He’s outgoing and popular and a star of their high school’s soccer team. He and Yixing have been friends since they were kids, sharing toys and putting glue in their classmate’s hair. Yixing thinks it’s possible that he’s always been sort of in love with Lu Han who always showed up for his piano recitals and yelled at the television as he watched a matched and called Yixing at three in the morning when he couldn’t sleep.
after my 32k kray fic i swore i wasn’t gonna write any kray for like a month but i was bored at work so this happened fml. (this was the prompt).
“Get up, get up,” Wu Fan vaguely hears Yixing say somewhere above him through the haziness of his mind. “If you think I’m carrying your giant ass home, you are wrong.”
Wu Fan feels an arm slide around his waist, small fingers clutching his hip, and then he’s moving, sort of, his knees a little wobbly and the world is spinning. “Where are we going?” he says, but his voice comes out in a slur.
Yixing chuckles beside him. “Home,” he says. “You are trashed. I thought you said you didn’t plan on drinking anything tonight?”
Wu Fan doesn’t really remember much of anything at this moment, so he thinks and thinks, and thinks some more until the pieces start fitting together. Chanyeol’s party. Lots of booze. Yixing dancing with that Jongin kid. Wu Fan watching Yixing dancing with that Jongin kid. Wu Fan watching as that Jongin kid almost pulled Yixing into a kiss before Yixing shoved him away, laughing. More booze. A whole ton of booze.
“You don’t have to take me home,” Wu Fan mutters darkly as he remembers sulking in a corner as Yixing had danced with Jongin, hips swaying together in time to the beat. Why did it have to be Jongin? Wu Fan could do that. Probably. Maybe.
“I’m sorry it’s come to this, Yixing, but I’m going to win, and I’m going to take the Rose Bride from you,” Lu Han says, slowly raising his sword up before him.
“Don’t call me the Rose Bride,” Wu Fan hisses from the side, grumbling as he stares down at the ridiculously large red dress he’s wearing. He’s been Yixing’s goddamn rose bride for a long time now but he’ll never get used to it.
Yixing just smiles at him, which annoyingly makes Wu Fan flush a little, and it doesn’t help when Yixing slides a hand around his waist and tips him over, the glow in his chest warm and powerful and it really fucking hurts when the sword pushes up through his body. Yixing clasps the handle easily, drawing it out and holding it up in the air, before slowly (and dramatically, Wu Fan always thinks) lowering it down so it’s pointing directly at Lu Han.
“I’ll protect Wu Fan no matter what,” Yixing says firmly, and Wu Fan’s glad Yixing’s still got an arm around his waist, because otherwise he thinks he might have tripped over the stupid hem of his dress from the heat and seriousness of Yixing’s voice.
This whole Rose Bride thing kind of sucks but he thinks he could be okay with it, as long as Yixing’s his Engaged.
